The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC), Texas Occupational Code and TREC’s Standard of Practice Inspection Guidelines requires all inspectors to contribute to the Real Estate Inspection Recovery Fund. TREC administers this fund which may be used to satisfy judgements against inspectors who violate the law. This fund is for your protection and all real estate inspection companies are required by law to provide the information regarding the fund to their clients.
